Kids create a cuddly reading Pal, celebrate with Judge Bear’s adoption ceremony, and take home a Reading Tracker. Schools get a year’s supply to keep the reading fun alive!

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

STRENGTHEN LITERACY THROUGH THE ARTS

This program blends reading, song, and dance to spark a lifelong love of books while building essential literacy skills. By weaving the arts into reading, children strengthen phonemic awareness through playful repetition, making it easier to recognize language patterns. The combination of sight, sound, and movement boosts memory retention and supports diverse learning styles—turning reading into an engaging, multisensory adventure.

BOOST EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Children create their very own Reading Pal to take home as a reading buddy. During the “Honorable Judge Bear Adoption Ceremony,” we celebrate their achievements—building pride, ownership, and emotional intelligence. This special experience encourages positive behaviors and nurtures a lifelong love of reading.

BUILD READING CONFIDENCE

Children build confidence in sounds, sight words, and rhymes while revisiting key literacy concepts. Each child receives a book and a take-home reading tracker to establish a fun reading routine with their Reading Pal.
